The Syrian regime's media revealed on Sunday evening a visit by the head of the regime, Bashar al-Assad, to his forces, which stormed the eastern Ghouta besieged in the countryside of Damascus.

The visit was criticized by Syrian opposition activists who called it a visit to review the victory by the "thief" and "criminal" of the CD, after it was destroyed over the heads of their people and killed and besieged them for five years, and abandon them.

Anas Issa commented on Facebook: "The criminal Bashar al-Assad entered the outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta, after destroying it over the heads of its people and besieged it for five years, to boast to his youth that he liberated it!"

Journalist Adnan Ali criticized the visit by saying: "Citizen Bashar al-Assad brings you the news of the eastern Ghouta."

"Bashar al-Assad said:" In every war there are civilians who sometimes pay the price by mistake ... and we regret it, do not be like Bashar al-Assad. "

"The thief Bashar al-Assad appears as he drives a car as he speaks and says he wants to keep the lives of civilians in the eastern Ghouta," Omar civilian wrote. "I have not seen a rascal from such a murderer."
It is noteworthy that the visit of the President of the Syrian regime to the eastern Ghouta did not resonate or react to a large level of activists on social networking sites, unlike the visits he had previously made to Darya and Qabun.

For his part, pro-Syrian activists sing the visit, and pro-government media outlets praised the visit, which was described by them as a visit to the "brave man".

Syrian state television on its Facebook page posted pictures of Assad with the al-Ghouta army's army fighters. For its part, published the page "Presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic" on "Facebook" eight clips show Assad driving a car that said he was on his way to the eastern Ghouta.

For its part, said the channel Hammamim Russian military in Syria, on Facebook, the Russian air and space forces secured Assad's visit to Al-Ghouta.

It is noteworthy that the first visit by Bashar al-Assad to areas controlled by his forces after a military operation resulted in the destruction of civilian homes, and the killing and displacement of residents, was in the neighborhood of Baba Amr in the city of Homs, the end of March 2012.
