In a horrifying incident, a zoo guard in Mexico was killed by a lion who snored to death after the predator was able to get out of the cage, where it was not closed tightly, and rushed towards the guard and was appalled by the neck.
The guard, Gustavo Serrano, 28, was cleaning the lion's cage and after he finished cleaning he did not close the door very well, so the lion opened it and accidentally smashed his neck, leading to his death. According to the Mirror.
Workers at the Nikolaas Bravo Zoo in Mexico found Gustavo and told the emergency men who rushed to find Gustavo dead.
A member of the city's local council said the council would support the victim's family, investigate the incident and make the predator areas more secure.
