A toothbrush was planted in the belly of an American diver who was swimming off the coast of Marathon, Florida.
In the video, published in the British newspaper The Sun, a small shark surprises Irfan McCartney with a furious rattle.
Ervin's attempts to free his belly from the fish failed, and he returned with her to the boat, which was torn down in his stomach and turned to his friends who had to stab her with a knife.
In his first comment on the incident, McCarty said: "I jumped into the water and reached a hole 3 meters deep, before the little shark came up in my belly."
"I tried to keep her away but I failed, and struggled hard to get back to my boat."
