At least five dead in storms and snow in the northeastern United States





 


At least five people were killed when a strong storm hit the eastern coast of the United States, accompanied by heavy winds, heavy rain and snow, causing the cancellation or postponement of thousands of flights and forced authorities to close federal government offices in Washington.
