A video clip, published by Western media, recorded a moment of "swallowing" a man's electric ladder during a rush hour in a metro station in Istanbul, Turkey.
The video shows a number of people descending on the electric ladder on February 27, before they all fall, after the crack and stop the peace from work.
The crack was followed by a large hole in which a man fell and was trapped there for about an hour, according to a video posted on the website of the Daily Mail newspaper on Tuesday.
After moments of terror experienced by the man and the people who witnessed the incident, the firefighters rescued the victim and was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
Local reports reported that the Istanbul municipality had placed a warning sign near the ladder before the incident, but failed to prevent people from using it.
The reason for the collapse appeared to be due to the pressure of the peace during peak hours, she said.
