Million dollars for information about the journalist Austin Tais kidnapped in Syria

Intelligence reports gathered over the past 18 months indicate that American journalist Austin Taes is still alive six years after his disappearance in Syria, according to ABC News.

The news came as the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced for the first time a new one-million-dollar reward for information leading to Tys.
Two senior officials have recently confirmed to ABC News that the odds are that Teys is still alive, despite previous US intelligence estimates that he has died in Syria.

Tais is a journalist and photographer who was kidnapped in 2012, a former US Navy soldier, and worked for several media organizations, including CBS and the Washington Post, covering events in Syria.
