Prince Harry and Megan Marshall invite 600 people for their wedding and invitations printed in gold!

Prince and his American fiancée Meghan Markle invited 600 people to attend their wedding in May, but the list of invitees has yet to be revealed, the office of the British prince Harry revealed on Thursday.

Kensington Palace said all guests invited to attend the St. George Church wedding ceremony on May 19 at Windsor Palace, Queen Elizabeth's Palace, would be invited to a reception and luncheon afterwards.

In the evening, 200 guests will attend a special reception at Frøgmor House, hosted by Prince Charles, Harry's father.

Invitation Cards

The palace said the gold leaf invitations had already been sent this week, but the identity of the invitees would not be announced at this stage.

"His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales is pleased to invite Prince Henry of Wales to marry Megan Markle," he wrote in the invitation to the wedding.

In the lavish wedding of Prince William, Harry's older brother, 1900 people were invited to Westminster Cathedral in 2011.

Obama is among the invitees

British newspapers expected Harry to invite former US President Barack Obama, who interviewed him on BBC Radio during Christmas, while he would not invite current President Donald Trump.

Claudia Joseph, who writes on the autobiography of members of the royal family, said Harry did not want to take any step with political implications that could embarrass her grandmother.

She added that the choices of Harry and Merkel so far indicate that their wedding will be more private than the wedding of William on Kate Middleton Kate Middleton.
